About Me & My Approach
Having initially trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), I worked in West End theatre for 2-years. I then spent the following 10-years of my career working in television; as a Producer and Presenter. My most notable appearance in front of the camera was as a regular Travel Reporter on the BBC’s ‘Holiday’ programme.
In 1998 I left television to join a start-up Employee Engagement agency; INVOLVE, as a Company Director and as a Business Partner/Owner. I subsequently then spent 19-years designing and running global employee engagement programmes, conferences & events, MC-ing, hosting and facilitating at every business level; as well as coaching business Leaders and Managers to be more effective communicators. In 2017 I decided to go freelance, and using my previous experience as a business owner, I have primarily focused since on coaching start-ups and young businesses in setting their Visions, Values and Strategies. I also continue to coach first-timers to global business Leaders to be more effective presenters and communicators.
With all aspects of my coaching processes, I apply the principles of involvement right from the start. I work with clients
on a one-to-one basis, collaborating with them at every stage. All clients are different and I want to get to know them as an individual, not on a ‘one size fits all’ model; subsequently gaining their confidence and trust in working together
effectively in partnership.
I am based in Surrey and my work has taken me all over the world throughout my career. However, since going freelance in 2017, I have mainly focused my efforts coaching businesses and individuals within the UK.
